Limited UniQ World Cup Calendar Design
A World Cup calendar designed as a lineup.
12 jersey-inspired pieces, each tied to a player, a country, and a moment in football.
The Concept
Design a World Cup 2026 themed calendar for Limited UniQ that stands out as a physical product, combining functionality with football culture by transforming each month into a jersey-inspired design.
Design & Process
The calendar was developed as a collection of 12 jersey-shaped designs, each representing a month through a numbered system similar to football shirts.
Each number was mapped to a relevant player and country-
1 to 11 aligned with active players and positions
12 (December) designed as a special Argentina piece referencing the World Cup win
The design system combined multiple layers-
Kit-inspired layouts based on current national team jerseys
Local cultural art references integrated into sleeve detailing (for example, styles inspired by regional artists and movements)
Front and back numbering aligned with the calendar structure
Team crests and player associations embedded into each piece
Beyond visuals, the calendar includes functional football context-
Key tournament dates including World Cup stages and UCL fixtures
Player birthdays and notable football events
An additional page was designed to introduce the brand and include interactive prompts around tournament predictions.
The result is a hybrid product that works both as a calendar and a collectible display piece.
